300,000 Miles

Published by at 6:04 pm under General

On this day, January 10th 2012, my 1987 CRX has hit 300k miles!
That means I have roughly 200k on the motor. It’s still running like a champ.
The swap was done at around 260,000 miles. This is the fifth year after the swap. Repair cost so far is $0.
Tears, joy, and respect.

Sweet!!!! I’ve also got an ’87 CRX Si, so now I know what’s possible. And with these gas prices, I’m loving this little gas sipper. I’ve doctored the plastic fenders and nose piece, so as long as they hold, I will hang onto this little puppy. I’m only at 230k, so we will see how it goes.

    Sweet!
Hold on to it. They don’t make it like they used to.
This baby is consistently doing 35 – 40 mpg easily even with the Integra motor.
And I gun it at every stop light.
